Abstract
  • The subject of the project is ministry as Christian vocation. The thesis is that adult church members who discover their call to ministry will become more involved in the ministry of the church. The literary research treats the relationship between clergy and laity. Calling, gifts of the Spirit for ministry, the priesthood of all believers, and Baptist treatment of vocation are covered. The social research consists of an experiment utilizing a control group and a study group of ten adults each. The author concludes that attitudes on the subject of Christian vocation are extremely difficult to change.
