Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to develop an effective model that promotes a working relationship between the Probation Department of the Juvenile Court and the local churches to help the unruly and delinquent children who were placed on probation by the court. This model was laid out in a manual. A panel of experts who were members of the court system as well as pastors of local churches evaluated the effectiveness of this manual. The experts rated the model as most effective in informing churches about the separation of church and state, and about the nature and functions of the Juvenile Court.
