Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to develop a strategy whereby Christians would access the power of prayer and fasting. From the time the first Christian church was established in Thailand to the present day, there has been little growth. Most churches in Thailand remain weak and ineffective. Some North American churches and the South Korean churches of the second half of the twentieth century have both prayed and fasted for their countries as a regular practice, resulting in an increased number of believers. The project manager felt an urgency to train the churches in Thailand to use the power available by focusing prayer through fasting.
