Abstract
  • This project was designed as a teaching instrument to be used in training the session, teaching staff, other congregational leaders and covenant parents in a comprehensive program of evangelism which is faithful to the relevant principles of covenant theology, evangelism and baptism in the Word of God and is consistent with the Reformed faith. Weaknesses inherited from the Presbyterian tradition regarding the evangelization of children are defined and alternatives reflecting Scripture and Reformed doctrine are substituted. Examples and insights from sources available in the history of the Reformed churches have been extensively employed.
