Abstract
  • Discipleship is the process of learning to live in an obedient relationship with Jesus Christ. However, many in today's society claim to be Christians, but seem to put forth little effort to actually obey Him. The praxis director led a discipleship seminar, which utilized the teaching and practice of the spiritual disciplines, to cultivate more obedient disciples. As a whole, the participants experienced greater levels of perceived spiritual growth while participating in the practice of the spiritual disciplines. This spiritual growth manifested itself in greater obedience to Christ and His teachings.
