Abstract

This dissertation examines the values of teams in the church planting process. Chapter 1 examines the motivations for church planting and the make up, organization, and future orientation of teams. Chapter 2 examines select books from the religious and business field to get a feel for the literature. Chapter 3 explores a lead church planter enlists a team based on his vision for planting a new church. Chapter 4 provides direction for disciplining and developing the members as a team. Chapter 5 examines common tasks that all team members must do to plant a church.
