Abstract
  • Pastoral ministry today requires biblical and visionary leadership. These tasks can be integrated using a corporate relevance matrix. This matrix assists the preacher in articulating the biblical text's significance in a way that roots the church's mission, affirms core values, builds organizational culture, and envisions the future. The validity of the matrix was established at Life Bible Fellowship Church by obtaining a baseline of leadership ownership, followed by a six month preaching program utilizing the matrix. Following this, the congregation's leadership ownership was again surveyed, thereby establishing the matrix as a valid instrument for integrating leadership and expository preaching.
