- Material for a marriage enrichment workshop in the Evangelical Formosan Church was based on the Bible and on current Christian marriage enrichment literature. Emphasis and application of truth were laid on seven basic areas of marital needs: purpose, five parables of Christ, self-image, communication, trust, sexuality and spirituality. Fourteen persons attended the workshop for thirteen weeks. A pre-test and a post-test were carefully coded. Participants reported their marriages were enriched. The data showed areas which were not affected and where other courses could be developed. Further study is indicated to validate empirically the trends noted and to specify other groups in which this seminar might be used.
