Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to provide a history of the Bible Presbyterian Church (BPC). It gives special attention to principles behind the early growth and later decline and demise of the BPC. The subject matter of the project is drawn chiefly from primary sources, including the author's personal experiences in the BPC and personal correspondence found in the Covenant Theological Seminary archives, particularly in the Buswell file. The author's conclusions draw out applications which may be helpful to other conservative Presbyterian churches.
