Abstract
  • The Christian church in India has not been effective at bringing holistic transformation to the burning issues of Indian communities. The present educational and ministry models of the church are not balanced, strategic, and intentional to transform the poor communities. In response to the problem, the researcher employed phenomenology and grounded theory as the methods of study and thus he developed a Christ-centered educational and ministry model (CEMM) that has the potential to bring holistic transformation. This model is built on the concept that transforming self is foundational to transforming society. CEMM is holistic, community-based, church-based, and Christ-centered.
