Abstract
  • The project consists of three sections: 1) a survey of the religious heritage of the Korean people and the effect this has had on their Christian tradition; 2) theological issues raised by the cultural context of Korean-American Christians; 3) a description of the practicum undertaken to develop evangelistic outreach to Korean-Americans. The practicum had two objectives: to discern, through a detailed survey, the contextual factors governing the Christian witness of Korean-Americans; and to develop a method of evangelism which could communicate the gospel to those beyond the church. Results are tabulated; the training program for evangelistic visitation is described; and some conclusions are made concerning evangelistic strategy for the Korean-American church.
