Abstrait

In response to the multiethnic demographics of Taiwan in the 21st century, the author conducts this doctoral study which bridges the diaspora missiology paradigm with the multiethnic church paradigm by using action research on the Wu Chang Church in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. As a case study, the author uses qualitative research practices, describing the morphing process of this church from a church with a missions program to a multiethnic church. Based on the research, the author proposes a three-concentric-circle of missions to conceptualize the diaspora mission for the church. The author also presents insights for building a multiethnic ministry program derived from the action research process for further research and development.
