Abstract
  • Spiritual formation is a process of being conformed to the image of Christ. All Christians are required to grow spiritually. In both Testaments, God revealed himself as a holy God, and commands that all his children be holy. Books and even courses on spiritual formation cannot, in and of themselves, produce spiritual transformation in believers' lives. Only the Holy Spirit can form and shape them into the image of Christ. With that in mind, the present project entailed the development of a course on spiritual formation at Faculté de Théologie Evangélique de l'Alliance Chrétienne (FATEAC). Key components included principles for one's spiritual life, culture and spirituality, spiritual disciplines, keys to honoring God, and the challenges encountered in the Christian life.
