Abstract
  • The hypothesis proposed that if individuals examine patterns of faith, family, and work in light of themes of vocation and covenant, new awareness will empower change toward rebalancing loyalties. Seven bi-weekly sessions focused on interactions between two realms of the faith, family, and work triad (e.g., family and work, faith and family, etc). Assignments elicited personal reflection and couple communication. A pre-test, interview, post-test, and evaluation took place. Participants reported some new awareness of how faith, family, and work may receive new shape, and some ability to balance them more effectively, but no significant new patterns of faith, family, and work.
