- This project examines the theory and practice of prison ministry in the Christian tradition. The project presents a manual of advice and information for volunteers visiting in Vermont correctional facilities, offering advice about listening, confidentiality, boundaries and limits, and potential for change through relationship. The project analyzes the theory and practice of prison ministry in the context of present United States conditions, presenting a theology of mercy and relationship as essential to the Gospel and to a ministry to visit those in prison.
