Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to develop a risk management strategy for the First Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida. The project director used the strategy development model. The project director began by researching risk management and strategy formation. Upon completion of the research phase, the project director selected a risk management team and developed a three-session teaching curriculum designed to educate the team on risk management and strategy development. The result was a functioning team that focused on developing a risk management strategy to minimize risk for the First Baptist Church of Live Oak. The strategy was developed during six meetings over a three-month period and was presented to church membership for adoption on July 21, 2013.
