Abstract
  • God has condescended to us in five stages, with each stage constituting a major point of doctrine. Early Methodism was founded upon these 'main branches' of faith and grew into a strong church. Modern Methodism must once again return to the essentials of the faith. Through an eleven-session course, the teacher leads the participants into an understanding of the major doctrines, resulting in a greater knowledge of biblical truth in the Wesleyan emphasis, and a stronger ability to defend the faith.
