- Abstract
- The accompaniment and formation of young people in the Church, or those who are part of a faith-based institution, must compel individuals to work against the climate crisis. By developing and engaging an intersectional hermeneutic of interfaith, feminist, queer, and ecotheologies, this thesis-project draws on qualitative research focused on the lived experience of young adults who grew up in urban or suburban settings, as well as neuro- and behavioral science, and theologies of "outsiders within," to propose that a praxis which explores blurring the creation binary by re-forming personal narrative can be an effective means of ecotheological ministry.
