Abstract
  • The author sought to engage two questions in this paper. The first is how does a post feminist preacher bridge the divide between evangelical traditional theology and social activism? The second is how can she persevere in pastoral ministry for the long haul? As she worked through her own story she discovered that preaching was a significant means for expressing the duality of her theology. She concluded that while building this bridge is contextual, it is significant work that must be done if we seek to remain true to our own relationship with Christ in the midst of ministry.
