Abstract

Part 1 of this project is a correspondence course developed for use by Messenger College. The course guides students through the history, polity and practices of the Pentecostal Church of God. Part 2 of the project examines the theological basis for story as a part of church life. The writer presents a limited introduction to various aspects of narrative. The project file also contains In the Beginning, published by the author as a result of his research. The book looks at the early Pentecostal movement. The project is reviewed and critiqued. The writer believes his goals were met and a valuable learning experience occurred.
