Abstract
  • The pastoral presence to a people in pain or grief in a sociopolitical situation is the focus of this project. The experience of inner freedom to become, and the openness to the future, sprung forth out of an exile crisis situation and its healthy resolution. This is the psycho-spiritual basis for pastoral care ministry. Achieving relationships, boiling down the problem, and coping actively are the phases of a crisis counseling paradigm. The inculturization of this paradigm in any cultural environment is made possible by the pastor who emphasizes the quality of her or his relationships over learning skillsand techniques.
