- Abstract
- This project sought to demonstrate how intentional and systematic study of the Bible leads congregants from being members of a local church to being disciples of Jesus Christ. the methodology consisted of a series of classes and homilies that focused specifically on discipleship principles taught by Jesus. the project was evaluated by using a pre-test and post-test survey to determine changes in behavior and attitudes regarding discipleship. results of the model showed that, as members become biblically literate, they are transformed into disciples and become actively engaged in doing the tings Jesus Taught and did.
