- Abstract
- This project examines the history of racial conflict in the US that has forced African American churches and communities to struggle for self-esteem and acceptance in the religious and socioeconomic productivity of mainstream America from the antebellum period to the present. Out of that history emerges a model for African American liberation and economic progress.
