This project was designed to give Cornerstone United Methodist Church a strategic plan for growth in the first year of a new building. This strategic plan began with designing the building to be user friendly and effective in this culture. Transitional strategies prepared the congregation for change. The design and program were driven by Cornerstone's mission. Seven key events provided the structure for marketing and inviting new people. New systems and teams were created or renewed in preparation for this new era of ministry. A lay mobilization process and assimilation method was put into place to integrate people and build disciples. A staffing plan was implemented in the process. Church growth, both numerically and spiritually, occurred after the yearlong process.
