This project is a case study of an intelligent young woman who suffers from low self-esteem, guilt, and depression due to poor parenting. She presents herself as in desperate need of affirmation. The woman feels that she is not in control of her life and is a failure in both her profession and her marriage. The author uses object relations mode of therapy to treat the woman.
