- The purpose of this paper was to present a transferable strategic path for ministry development for churches and then demonstrate it by applying it to the East Ridge Community Fellowship. The author addresses the topics of strategic planning, establishing a mission statement, developing a community needs assessment and an internal audit of the local church, and organizing to achieve purpose. Each chapter presents the theological foundations, performs a literature review, and then develops and applies the topic to the East Ridge Community Fellowship.
