Abstracto

This project has been developed to assist this local United Methodist congregation acquire the needed skills to do team ministry by providing a training model for existing teams. To accomplish this a one-day retreat was conducted which dealt with seven general concepts of teaming. Power point slides were developed along with a note-taking guide. The model was evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively using a pre-test/post-test questionnaire, and personal interviews. The indication is that the participant's grew in their understanding. The results of the training continue to be realized within the church.
