Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to lead the faculty of the school in producing a curriculum design manual with a learning outcomes focus. The project was completed in fifteen faculty meetings by following a validation copy of Leroy Ford's A Curriculum Design Manual for Theological Education: a Learning Outcomes Focus. The manual proceeds from a broad purpose statement through scope, educational goals, educational objectives, context, instructional models, and administrative model to specific course descriptions. The manual was critiqued by two curriculum design specialists in America and two principals of theological schools in Africa before being released for distribution.
