- Abstract
- The report ascertains from charismatic literature from 1959 to 1980 how traditional and Neo-Pentecostals perceive the effects of their baptism in the Spirit upon their individual and corporate devotional life. The baptism in the Spirit has given individuals motivation for a deeper devotional life, a stronger desire to read the Bible, more spontaneous prayer, stronger faith, and greater love for God and others. Congregational worship has become more free-flowing and joyful, and the gifts of the Spirit have been expressed.
