Abstract
  • The conflict between people of color and white folk is deepening, in society and especially in the perceived bastion of justice and equality: the Christian church in the United States. This work outlines the beginning of transformation, from the author's own spiritual journey and contextual praxis as pastor of a white mainline church to a process of confrontational worship and focused Christian dialogue that can begin the transformation to anti-racist multicultural faith family. The conclusions are hopeful but be forewarned, change does not happen without congregational and personal pain.
