Abstract
  • This project's objective is to encourage and stimulate Wesleyan spiritual growth among the male members of the Kent Church of the Nazarene (Wash). A pilot study involving church board members was designed. A spiritual formation inventory was administered to gain the subjects self-perceptions of their spiritual formation needs. Based upon the inventory results, a series of educational exercises was developed and taught to the board members. The board members indicated in their postinstruction responses increased desire and intention to pursue systematic spiritual development. The exercises appear to be applicable to the adult male members of the congregation.
