Abstract
  • Developing a church in the twenty-first century is a growing challenge. Making disciples becomes the paramount process of this search. Research is used to explore the theological rationale of the disciple-making mandate and establish the theoretical presuppositions in order to implement them in the context of a local church. This report reflects the process of training a group of laypeople to become spiritual mentors who are abale to produce other disciples. The project succeeded in preparing the church to make disciples for the future generations in order to faithfully respond to Jesus' call to the Great Commission.
