Abstract
  • This project studies Christian prayer life development. Its purpose is to explore ways in which Christians may learn to pray with theological understanding. We maintain that we learn to pray as we work through our conflicts with God and the world. Since we develop spirtually through combat with God, the more we contend, the more we learn of the covenant of grace. This covenant in Christ provides the context for our spiritual growth since we cannot mature spirtually outside of God's grace. Spiritual growth, then, is a direct result of the practice and discipline of prayer.
