- The elderly experience in independent senior housing a depreciated sense of self actualization. Using scripture, personal reminiscence, theological reflection, and story telling, the senior was empowered to engage through discussion a retelling of each of the five stories God meeting people. The seniors were surveyed on the first and last week. The project outcome tabulated by each of four goals demonstrated a 0.9 increase in a sense of trusting, a 0.5 increase understanding of the methods used to discover a personal and biblical resource, and, 0.2 increase of identification of God in their lives.
