Abstract
  • This Doctor of Ministry project tested in a Filipino setting a process to guide people in the discovery of their personal life vision. The report deals with relevant cultural issues and builds a biblical foundation for the thesis that God desires to reveal a personal life-long, all-encompassing purpose to each individual. The research revealed that this calling contains a personal life message. The project led to the conclusion that vision is best discovered in a personal coaching situation through the evaluation of narratives concerning values and future hopes, and that this mentoring should include spiritual direction.
