Abstract
  • This project was written to present a way to revitalize the class meeting through the education and training of its leaders. In order to do so, the author made efforts to establish the essence and purpose of the class meeting by exploring the theological background of the class meeting from the Wesleyan perspective. The author also tried to find the reason for the revitalization and degeneration of the class meeting by studying the history of the class meetings in the Anglican, the American, and the Korean Methodist churches, respectively. Finally, on the basis of these studies, the author tried to present an applicable and practical way of revitalizing the class meeting through performing the model class meetings of the Sungnam Bangsuk church.
