Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to involve members of the Central Baptist Church in Indio, California, in establishing an on-going program of ministry to the residents of local gated communities with the goal of meeting the residents and sharing their faith with them through relational evangelism. Eight church members were recruited and trained. By offering five needs-oriented seminars at the target site's meeting facilities, this project provided a ministry model which demonstrates how community seminars can be a viable tool in providing an environment that allows local church members opportunities to create relationships with residents for further evangelization.
