- Abstract
- The people of God are called to worship and serve. This project was designed to equip, enable, and empower the laity to be participants in the worship experience that would enhance outreach in the local church. The project was designed around actions that were translated into acts of worship: equipping and encouraging greeters, sharing a life story or personal testimony, dramatic presentations on a youth Sunday and during the celebration of the first Sunday of Advent and Thanksgiving. The outcome of the project is the noticeable increase of participation of the members in the church's life and worship services and a pattern of growth that continues to the present.
