- Abstract
- The objective of this project is to empower a team of local lay leaders to preach within and outside the local church. Through diligent and steady instruction, learning, and encouragement over a period of two years, the four lay preachers were ready to preach their first sermon. The church members fully accepted the ministry of the lay preachers and responded positively to a survey distributed to them. Today the lay preachers continue in diligent self-study, join the pastor and other lay preachers in Bible study before they preach, and enjoy a fulfilling lay preaching ministry.
