  • This project proposes and implements an educational process to produce positive relationships between local police officers and African American young people (ages 10-16) who attend Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church (Easton, Md). In four sermons, four teaching sessions, and mentoring the project provides participating youth with skills that enable them to protect themselves against violent crimes and acts of police brutality.
