- Abstract
- This project was an effort to develop an understanding of stewardship based on what God has done for us through the person of Jesus Christ. The hermeneutical process was taken from Paul Ricouer and the theology of stewardship was developed in reaction to Karl Barth's concept of 'true growth' in the community of faith. A seminar based upon the shared Christian praxis approach was developed. The seminar was held at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Calumet, Oklahoma. It consisted of lectures and written activities. The seminar participants gained a new understanding of stewardship which was used to project avenues of action. This indicates a successful completion of the project.
