Abstract
  • Projection is the process of seeing one's own unconscious characteristics as belonging to others. In marital relationships it can cause problems. Writings in the field of depth psychology indicate that withdrawling projections can benefit marital relationships, promote individuation, and nurture religious experience. A series of written exercises are offered for pastors to use to foster projection withdrawal in premarital couples.
