Abstract
  • The project involved a comparative study of preaching styles, surveys and interviews. This was accomplished by the analysis of a study of seven sermons preached by African American female pastors in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in the Baltimore Conference, and a workshop which focused on a model to be used for sermon preparation. The findings called attention to the fact that women have similar and different styles of preaching, but the message is the same.
