Abstract
  • This project defines and designs a means of measuring 'vibrant' prayer, then develops a method by which it can be enhanced by a cell-based local church. The author researched both the history and the methodology of prayer in the cell context. The resulting 'prayer life' church-wide emphasis combined large group teachings with self-study materials and small group discussions and activities designed specifically to work within the cell-based church environment. While strong indications were made that prayer practice and vibrancy was indeed enhanced, it was discovered that the most effective techniques employed in the cell church mirror those typically used in traditionally-structured environments.
