  • This ministry project has been done to develop a strategy to identify and train leadership for the youth ministry at Madison Baptist Church in Madison, New Jersey. Chapter one provides the context of the church and community settings. The goals, definitions, and limitations are also given. Chapter two gives the biblical, theological, and historical basis for building teams to do ministry. Moses, Paul, and Jesus provide the biblical examples while John Wesley is used as a historical case for teamwork in ministry. Chapter three examines the contemporary secular and Christian resources to inform the project. teamwork, leadership, the purpose statement, core values, vision, and strategy are examined to provide an overview of intentional leadership. Chapter four covers what happened during the three-month project. Giving a report of what happened and who was involved, this chapter focuses on giving the facts of what happened. Chapter five is the evaluation of the project. This chapter shares the goals that were met and those that were not. I also give my personal theological reflection.
