- If the church in North America is to have a continuing impact on world evangelization, it must study the changes taking place, determine the effect of these changes and respond from a biblical perspective. Using a research tool called a vision audit, along with the study of relevant literature, the author examined the cultural, demographic and ethnic shifts in an effort to determine their impact on the ministry of the eastern director for CBInternational. The ministry of an area director must change from a promotional to a consultative role, assisting churches to develop a fresh vision for world evangelization.
