- Abstract
- This thesis presents the rationale, theological and theoretical basis, implementation, and results of a training course in narrative preaching designed to deepen seminarians' value for narrative preaching and to develop seminarians' skill in narrative preaching. The training course incorporated an inductive as well as a deductive teaching approach. The writer created a pretest and posttest questionnaire to measure whether the training course influenced seminarians to place more value on narrative preaching as a necessary medium of persuasion and to increase their skill in narrative preaching. The results seemed to substantiate the intention of the course.
