Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to discover what concepts pastors of a select group of evangelical churches were employing to transform their churches into biblical communities. Data was accumulated from a survey that was distributed to one hundred pastors of evangelical churches. The respondents indicated that doctrinal truth must be transformational, not merely informational; that historical doctrines provide a guideline for the Christian faith; and that the Christian faith should produce change and growth within individual Christians.
