Abstract
  • This project is a biblically based, practically oriented study tool for small groups to guide them through reflection on the Seven Deadly Sins (pride, envy, anger, sloth, greed, gluttony, and lust), with a view toward promoting personal holiness. It is designed to help students grow in sensitivity to their presence, to confront them with their danger, and to provide help in successfully battling them. Serious reflection on this list, which traces its roots to 4th century A.D. Christian monasticism, can be a useful tool in our postmodern age, where the concept of sin has unfortunately been abandoned.
