- Abstract
- The study was a simple test of 'on-the-job' training methodology as a means to motivate Japanese lay Christians to participate in planting churches. The description of said field test is the purpose of the dissertation. The results of the tests showed that personal attention towards the trainees and behavioral objectives related task orientation of 'on-the-job' training were effective tools of church-planting motivation. Weaknessses were found as Japanese cultural dynamics weaken full participation in the program.
